Let's Color!Pour 1/2 of your batter into a mixing bowl, add small amounts of the red gel food coloring at a time until you get the color you want. Stir until all the color is evenly mixed in the batter. Pour the colored batter into one of the squeeze bottles. Next, scoop out 1 cup of the uncolored batter, add a little green gel food coloring, and stir until the color is evenly mixed. Pour the green colored batter into the second squeeze bottle. Lastly, pour the uncolored batter into the third squeeze bottle. |

It's Art Time!Lightly spray the griddle with cooking spray. Using the uncolored batter, draw the outline and the stripes in the center of the candy cane. Be sure to leave space between the uncolored lines for the red. Then, using the red colored batter, fill in the spaces between the uncolored lines of the center of the candy cane. When you see bubbles forming all over the pancake, flip it over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. When it's done, set it on a plate. Now, let's make the cute little bow. Using the green colored batter, draw the outline of a bow, then fill in the center. When you see bubbles forming, flip it over and cook the other side for a minute or two. Place the bow on top of the candy cane and enjoy! |
