Steps

1
Done

First things first, you want your oven pretty hot so you can quickly crisp up the bacon but not burn you beans.

So, preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

2
Done

Next, empty both cans of green beans into a colander, over the sink of course, to drain the juice.

Put these aside for now.

3
Done

Lay the bacon on a cutting board and cut the strips in half.

You should end up with 18-20 pieces from a 12 ounce pack of bacon. Seems like alot of pieces, but I promise you, these little bundles of sweet deliciousness won’t last long!

4
Done

Now, grab 5-6 green beans, lay them on one end of a piece of bacon and roll the bundle up.

Place the bundle on your baking pan.

5
Done

This is where things get a whole lot sweeter!

Pour the Dr. Pepper and brown sugar into a measuring cup and whisk them together for a few seconds.

Pour the glaze over the bundles.

6
Done

Bake for 25 minutes.

7
Done

And because you want a sticky, caramel-like glaze on these bundles, don’t skip this step!

Remove the pan from the oven. Use a tablespoon to carefully scoop up the glaze and coat the bundles again.

Put the pan back into the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.

8
Done

When done, use a fork or spatula to remove the bundles from the pan right away so the glaze doesn’t cool off causing the bundles to stick to the pan.

Enjoy!
