Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. |

Lightly spray the bottom and sides of the 8 x 8 baking dish. Set aside for now. |

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt together. |

Place the butter in a small, microwave-safe, bowl and microwave for 8-10 seconds at a time until the butter has fully melted. Add the butter to the flour mixture. |

Add the eggs and milk to the flour mixture. Using your whisk, combine all ingredients until smooth and lump free. |

Pour the batter into your baking dish. Use a spoon to spread it evenly in the pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted in the center, comes out clean. Allow the cornbread to cool (no worries, it'll still be warm) for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!!! |
