Heat griddle to 325 degrees. |

On a cutting board slice the apple into 6 slices. Next, using a bubble straw (aka fat straw), a small round cookie cutter, or knife, remove the core from the apple slices. If using a bubble straw (aka fat straw) or small round cookie cutter, press down directly onto the center to remove the core. If using a knife, cut around the core to remove it. |

Using a spatula, lift the tops of the muffins and flip them onto the the muffins you placed the apples on. Remove the muffins from the griddle and serve immediately with the simple ketchup and mayo dipping sauce found with this recipe. Enjoy! Storage: You can refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container and reheat them in the microwave, but they are best eaten as soon as cooked. |
