Steps

1
Done

Open an Oreo cookie. Using a butter knife, scrape out the cream.

2
Done

Break the cookie in half to form the bat wings. You will need two halves per bat.

Repeat this step until you have all of the bat wings you want.

3
Done

Empty the bag of chocolate chips into your glass bowl.

Microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir.
Microwave for another 30 seconds.
Stir.
Microwave a final 30 seconds.
Stir.

If not all of the chips have melted, just keep stirring. The heat from the bowl and already melted chocolate will melt the remaining chips.

4
Done

Place a sheet of wax paper on the plate.

The wax paper will prevent the chocolate from sticking to the plate.

5
Done

Dip one end of two Oreo halves in the melted chocolate. Place the wings, close to each other and in the position you want, on the wax paper on the plate.

6
Done

Dip one pretzel at a time into the chocolate. Use a fork to lift the pretzel then gently tap the fork on the bowl to remove the excess chocolate.

Place the chocolate covered pretzel, centered on the Oreo wings.

7
Done

Place two large candy eyeballs on the pretzel.

8
Done

Repeat steps 5 & 6 until you've made the number of bats you want for your party.

9
Done

Place the plate or tray in the freezer for about 3-4 minutes to quickly set the chocolate.

Or, leave them on the counter, away from heat, for about 30 minutes or until set.

Enjoy!
