It’s not perfect, but should give you an idea of how to make a snowman or snow globe pancake for the holidays 🙂 It was fast and easy to make! I made this batter from scratch but you can use boxed batter, too. Just mix in the food coloring of your choice to make it just the way you like.

Let's Color!Pour about 2/3 of your batter into a mixing bowl, add small amounts of the sky blue gel food coloring at a time until you get the color you want. Stir until all the color is evenly mixed in the batter. Pour the colored batter into one of the squeeze bottles. Next, pour the uncolored batter into the second squeeze bottle. |

It's Art Time!Lightly spray the griddle with cooking spray. Using the uncolored batter, draw a circle. Next, draw the snowman's body and a scarf. Then, add drops around the snowman so it looks like falling snow. Now, using the sky blue colored batter, draw the snowman's eyes, mouth, and buttons. Using the uncolored batter, fill in the snowman. You want to cover the eyes, mouth, and buttons. Last, using the sky blue colored batter and staying within the circle, fill in the remainder of your pancake. When you see bubbles forming all over the pancake, flip it over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. When it's done, set it on a plate, sprinkle with confectioner's (powdered) sugar and drizzle with syrup. Wasn't that fun?? I hope you and your family enjoy making these together. |
