Spinach and Artichoke dip is one of my all-time favorites but this Spinach Dip Wonton Cups Recipe takes a classic dip to a whole new level! It’s like the crispy wontons are the chips to the traditional dip. Sooo yummmy!!

Steps

1
Done

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

2
Done

Spray your muffin pan with vegetable cooking spray then place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup.

3
Done

Bake the empty wontons for 5 minutes.

When the wontons are done, leave the oven on because you will bake the filled wontons in a bit.

4
Done

On a cutting board, use a sharp knife to dice up the onions.

5
Done

On the same cutting board, cut up the artichoke hearts.

6
Done

Add the diced onions and butter to your 5-quart pot. Set the heat to high to saute the onions in the butter.

Be sure to stir the onions around so they don't burn. You'll know the onions are ready when they look clear.

7
Done

Lower the heat to medium high. Add the frozen spinach and the artichoke pieces to the pot with the onions and butter.

Stir it all together.

8
Done

Add the cream cheese to the pot and stir it into the other ingredients until all of the cream cheese has melted.

9
Done

Add the sour cream, cheddar and mozzarella to the pot and stir the mixture together.

10
Done

Use a tablespoon to fill each of the wonton cups with the spinach dip.

11
Done

After you've filled the wonton cups, stick the pan back in the oven and bake the filled wontons for 5 more minutes.

And, you're done!

If you have any leftovers, you may store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

To reheat, place the cups on a baking pan, heat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 4-5 minutes or until the center of the dip is warm and the wontons are crisp again.
